Every spring, Bowral transforms into a floral wonderland during the Tulip Time Festival. The Bowral Tulip Festival was first held in 1966, making it a long-standing tradition in the region and one of the largest and oldest flower festivals in Australia. Beyond the stunning displays, visitors can enjoy local arts and crafts, live entertainment, and a range of delicious food options. A visit to the festival wouldn't be complete without stopping by the Country Women’s Association (CWA) Tea Rooms. Dogs Day Out: September 30, 2024. On the festival's final day, bring your furry friends for a special pet-friendly event. With dog-friendly activities and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s a fun day out for pets and owners alike.
Tulip Time Garden Party: During the October Long Weekend, on 4th,5th and 6th October, visitors can enjoy beverages, food and artisan markets. at the Tulip Time Garden Party. The garden will be decorated with floral arrangements and there will be live music on the day too. Be part of this inaugural event and witness the magic spring!
The Tulip Trail: Explore Beyond the Gardens
The Tulip Trail is a unique aspect of the festival that encourages visitors to explore the Southern Highlands beyond Corbett Gardens as a self-guided experience. Here’s what you can expect. The trail takes you through the charming town of Bowral and into the surrounding areas, where you can see tulip displays in public spaces, private gardens, and local businesses.
